Job: Production Operator - Second Shift _South Deerfield

Job description This position is responsible for producing quality TPU and PC film & sheet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES; based on position
Develops, implements, and learns from personal development plans.
Operate blender, resin dryer, 4.5 extruder, take-off tower, die and film winder.
Start up and shut down equipment.
Keep extruder fed with resin mixture by accurately adding, blending and drying the batch resin components,
Observe and adjust process parameters in ensure proper film thickness, sheet width, film quality and roll put-up,
Diagnose, correct and document processing problems,
Record process and product information, test samples, complete order paperwork,
Make quality judgements about film produced,
Effect basic die and extruder maintenance, including teardown and reassembly of the extruder screw and die,
Work safely with cutting tools.
Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers.
Keep production area clean.
Operate fork truck as needed.

Your qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS:
High school diploma or GED
One year experience in a manufacturing environment. Greater degree of internal experience is required to progress to higher operator level. Position will generally begin as an Operator Trainee.
Working knowledge of computers and proficiency with software applications.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in the extrusion of PC film.
3+ years in a manufacturing environment
Experience in TPU extrusion
Fork truck certification
Working knowledge of SAP
