Job Description

The transportation office is accountable for the transportation of clients within the detention system. He/she is accountable for the proper maintenance of the motor vehicle, the safety and security of the client(s), and timely appearance of the client at court or other scheduled appointments. The transportation officer is also to provide assistance to DYS or other agency personnel, as needed to transport clients and provide security. Daily inspection of the motor vehicle assigned to the region is also required.

Hours needed

M-F 8:45am-5:00pm

M-F 1:00pm-9:00pm

Qualifications

Qualifications required at hire: at least 21 years old, good physical condition, high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI and a DEEC background check
